The
organization did conduct a series of surveys aiming at sensing
awareness levels of masses and found results heartening to none.
A brief detail of surveys is given below:
a)
“Pollution Awareness Survey” in Muzaffarabad.
b)
“Comprehensive Survey of Chodhaki - Bethaak Water Channel” the
only source of water supply to the population of Khawaja Mohallah,
Sethi Bagh, Tariqabad and Dhairiaa’n.
c) Survey
to check the “Implementation of Jail Manual”, Central Jail,
Muzaffarabad.
d)
Survey on “Problems of Working Women”.
e)
Survey of Gender Discrimination and Child Abuse.
f)
“HIV/ AIDS Awareness Survey” in Muzaffarabad, A.K.

On the basis of
data, collected during these surveys, the organization did
conduct a series of workshops, seminars, community sittings and
has used all possible tools to sensitize the community. This is
an ongoing process and the organization does check its outputs
come on regular basis and the indicators are on the positive
side.

To ensure the
use of safe drinking water, the organization conducted a study
of the available water resources. This includes a radiological
survey of springs as well. In addition to this, a strategy
tailor made to ensure the management of the entire water shed is
in deliberation and discourse stage.

The
organization launched a Plantation Campaign named “Green
Muzaffarabad” in collaboration with the Environment Protection
Agency, Govt. of Azad Kashmir and Federal Ministry of
Environment, Govt. of Pakistan. The campaign is highly
successful and is working as a source of inspiration for other
agencies.

The
organization has successfully executed Solid Waste
Management Project with Community Participation in Ward No. 10,
12, 14 & 17 in Muzaffarabad, A.K.

Water Supply
Scheme at Taghaara & Maakri Areas on Self Help Basis.

Presently, the
organization was working on provision of Computer Training and
Internet Facility to Females only. In this context, a computer
centre and net café was established in Qazi Plaza which is since
been inoperative after quake.
